Festivals
The Hilltops Region is home to a plethora of exciting festivals and events, ranging from small community events to those that draw large crowds.

The Irish Woolfest is held in Boorowa annually on the October long weekend. For more information click here.

The National Cherry Festival, which celebrates our rich agricultural industry, is held in Young on the first weekend of December. For more information click here.

Sgt Parry Day, held in November in Jugiong, is held in remembrance of Sgt Edmund Parry who was killed in a gun battle against three famous bushrangers (Hall, Gilbert, and Dunn) in 1864.

The Harden Kite Festival is a fantastic family day out, held at the Harden Racecourse in October. For more information click here.

The Lambing Flat Chinese Festival marks the regions rich gold rush history and the important contribution of the Chinese in the development of Australia, and is held in March every year. For more information click here.
