On Public Exhibition: Murrumburrah Harden Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan

  In consultation with WMAwater, Council have recently completed a Flood Study, Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan for creek and overland flow flooding in Murrumburrah and Harden.

Turbine Component Deliveries to Bango Wind Farm

New approach for Hilltops Region 2020 Major Events

  After careful consideration and consultation with relevant section 355 Committees and the community, Hilltops Council has decided not to proceed with the Cherry Blossom Long Lazy Lunch, Boorowa Irish Woolfest, Harden Kite Festival and Young National Cherry Festival in their traditional formats for 2020.

Galong Road improvements underway

Council have commenced work on 14 km of road pavement and drainage upgrades on Galong Road.   The NSW Government awarded almost $2.4 million to the Galong Road upgrade as part of the Restart NSW Fixing Country Roads program, a figure matched by the Australian Government under its Heavy Vehicle Safety and Productivity Program. Hilltops Council is delivering the project and also contributing $200,000.
