Our thoughts and prayers are still very much with those who have been affected by the recent bushfires. As many of you know, I have initiated a bushfire relief fund to assist those who have been impacted and to support the recovery of the communities affected. The recovery process is going to be long and every dollar will count toward helping the communities affected get back on their feet. Donations are tax deductible and can be deposited to the following account or at any Hilltops Council Office or branch of the Commonwealth Bank. 100% of proceeds will go directly to those in need. Neither of which is a good look to outside observers. Clearly there is disenchantment by both staff and Councillors.
