Hilltops Library to host acclaimed authors in November

Hilltops Library are excited to announce that they will be hosting highly acclaimed authors Rosalie Ham and Chris Hammer in November.
Rosalie Ham is the author of three previous books, including her sensational bestseller The Dressmaker, now an award-winning film starring Kate Winslet, Liam Hemsworth, Judy Davis and Hugo Weaving. Rosalie was born and raised in Jerilderie, New South Wales, where her family still farm, and now resides in Melbourne. She holds a Master of Arts in Creative Writing and teaches Literature. Rosalie will be joining us on Wednesday 13 November at the Hilltops Library Harden at 2pm and Young at 6.30pm. A special morning event will be held at the Hilltops Library Boorowa on Thursday 14 November at 10.30am.
Chris Hammer is bestselling author of ‘Scrublands’ published in 2018.  Scrublands was shortlisted for the ABIA, Indies and NSW Premier’s Award and recently longlisted for UK Crime Writers’ Association New Blood Dagger Award for debut crime novels.  His second novel, ‘Silver’ published by Allen & Unwin, was released on 1 October.  Before turning to fiction, Chris was a journalist for more than 30 years, dividing his career between covering Australian federal politics and international affairs. Chris will join us for an evening event Thursday 21 November at 6.30pm at the Hilltops Library Young, followed by a morning event Friday 22 November at 10.30am at Hilltops Library Boorowa. 
Bookings are required as it is anticipated that this "Series - In Conversation" will be popular events in the Hilltops region.
