“Due to significant rain we have had recently the weir water level has risen. We are pleased to be in a position to reduce water restrictions in accordance with the Boorowa Drought Management Plan. We will continue to monitor water levels carefully to ensure the ongoing management of water requirements for the Boorowa community,” Hilltops General Manager Anthony O’Reilly said.
Despite water restrictions being reduced, residents across the Hilltops Region are asked to continue be mindful of their water usage and are encouraged to do all they can to be water wise.
