Hilltops Council provides water and sewer services to the communities of Boorowa and Harden Murrumburrah, including water supply to customers between Jugiong, Galong, Harden and Prunevale.
As part of Council’s Integrated Water Cycle Management (IWCM) Strategy and long-term financial plan, Council proposes to deliver major water and sewer upgrades and maintenance for the Harden and Boorowa communities over the next 20 years.
Hilltops Council is inviting the community to participate in further consultation following the sessions held in November 2025. These sessions provide an opportunity to share feedback on proposed changes aimed at improving the sustainability of water and sewer services in the Boorowa and Harden areas. They will also help increase community understanding of the costs, impacts, and risks associated with water and sewer management in Boorowa, and sewer management in Harden.
The times and locations for the community consultation workshop sessions (approximately one-hour in length) are:
· Tuesday 10 March 2026: 6pm to 7pm – Harden Mechanics Institute, 39 Neill Street, Harden
· Thursday 12 March 2026: 6pm to 7pm – Boorowa Ex-Services Club, 55-59 Pudman Street
