Assistance of up to $5000 is available with three different sponsorship packages available:
- Region wide event/activity – funding to a maximum of $5000
- Local specific Town or Village based general community event/activity –funding to a maximum of $2500
- Sporting events/activities of State or National significance – funding to a maximum of $2500
“Hilltops Council is committed to providing sponsorship assistance to groups in the area to support and grow local events and activities,” Hilltops Mayor Ingram said.
“This not only assists the groups involved, it also helps ensure we maximise the economic and social benefits of such events in a way that benefits the wider community.
Mayor Ingram encourages those requiring assistance to submit an application “Sponsorship applications are available for not-for-profit groups, organisations or individuals who are looking to organise an event or activity in the Hilltops Region that has demonstrable benefit to the community. If you have a great idea that would benefit the local community and perhaps need some help to make it a success, the Hilltops Council sponsorship program may be able to assist.”
All applications and supporting information must be submitted to Council on the prescribed application form available on Councils website by 12 noon Thursday 16 August 2018.
