This follows Council’s endorsement of the recommendations of the sponsorship/ financial assistance committee, for the distribution of the funds, as per Council’s budget allocation and policies, at the meeting of Hilltops Council held 17 April 2019.
Hilltops Mayor Brian Ingram thanks these groups for the tireless work they do within the Hilltops community. “Hilltops Council is committed to providing financial assistance to groups in the area to support and grow local events and activities,” he said.
“This not only assists the groups involved, it also helps ensure we maximise the economic and social benefits of such events in a way that benefits the wider community.” He added.
Council received numerous applications for financial assistance and sponsorship in the second round of the 2018/2019 program. These came from a wide cross section of community and sporting groups within the Hilltops Local Government Area.
A total of $30,359.51 has been allocated amongst the following organisations:

Council is committed to providing appropriate and equitable financial assistance to the Hilltops community. Council is currently reviewing the Sponsorship and financial assistance policies, prior to the commencement of the 2019/2020 funding program.
The 2019/2020 Programs will open for applications in late July 2019, with application forms for this funding available at Council offices and on Council’s website www.hilltops.nsw.gov.au
