Hilltops Council advises residents that road maintenance works will be undertaken on the internal roads at Harden Lawn Cemetery from Tuesday, 7 April 2026.
The works will involve repairing the internal roads to improve safety and accessibility for visitors, staff and funeral services. Maintaining these roads is important to ensure safe vehicle access throughout the lawn cemetery
To allow the works to be carried out safely, the internal roads will be temporarily closed for up to one week, weather and operational conditions permitting.
Council recognises the importance of maintaining a respectful and dignified environment within the cemetery. Every effort will be made to minimise disruption to funeral services during this period, and Council is working closely with cemetery staff and local funeral directors while the works are undertaken.
