Notification of damage to plaques at Young Cemetery
Council regrets to inform the community that during works at Young Lawn Cemetery, several burial plaques have been damaged.
An initial inspection has identified affected plaques in rows V, W, X, Y and Z. A comprehensive assessment is currently underway to determine the full extent of the damage, followed by a remediation plan.
This process is expected to take several months to complete.
Council sincerely apologises for any distress this incident may cause.
