Ceremonies were held across the Hilltops region on Friday 26 January 2024 to celebrate Australia Day and recognise the achievements of some very deserving Hilltops residents.

Hilltops Council also extends a special congratulations to Eris Gleeson, who received a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM), on Friday 26 January 2024. Eris was recognised for his commitment to the Hilltops Community at the Australia Day event in Young.
