Council released the Draft Hilltops Community Strategic Plan and associated documents, outlining priorities and programs to help align Council’s goals for the short and medium term. This includes Council’s Delivery Program, Resource Strategy and Operational Plan. Council needs the input of the community ensure the plan reflects the aspirations, desires and needs of our communities.
With submissions officially closing this Friday 24 June 2022, Council seeks the Hilltops communities views on the Draft Community Strategic Plan 2022 – 2032 and associated documents, mentioned above, which are on public exhibition until 24 June 2022.
To date, community consultation on the revised Hilltops Community Strategic Plan has included ten community workshops, held in various locations throughout the Hilltops Region, which were held over the previous weeks.
“It was great to get out to some of our towns and villages and hear firsthand from the community their ideas, aspirations and challenges. I thank everyone who took the time to attend and invite anyone who was unable to attend to view the documents online and make a submission,” said Hilltops Council General Manager Anthony O’Reilly.
