Hilltops Council advises residents and visitors that the ladies public toilets located at 257 Boorowa Street, Young (outside Woolworths) will be temporarily closed for repair works from Monday, 20 July 2026 for approximately two weeks.
The accessible (disabled) toilets will be available during the work at the ladies toilets. Following completion of the works to the ladies public toilets, Council will commence repairs to the men’s public toilets and the accessible toilets. These facilities will subsequently be closed for approximately two weeks while the repairs are undertaken.
During the closure of the men’s public toilets and the accessible toilets, portable toilets and accessible toilet facilities will be provided by Council to minimise inconvenience to the community.
To ensure public safety during the works, temporary fencing and signage will be installed around the work area.
Council appreciates the community’s patience and understanding while these essential maintenance works are completed. The repairs will improve the condition, functionality and amenity of these public facilities for residents and visitors.
