Hilltops Council advises residents that damage to the bridge deck crossing Sawpit Gully Creek was identified today. The bridge will be closed immediately to allow Council to inspect the bridge deck and assess the extent of the damage.
Location of the temporary pedestrian closure between Gordon Street and Patterson Avenue, Young.
To ensure public safety, construction fencing has been installed around the bridge, and access will remain restricted until further notice while engineers undertake investigations.
