Development Applications on Public Exhibition

Council will often have Development Application on public exhibition. These applications can be reviewed at Council's Customer Service Centre or alternatively, on this page.
 

Council has developed a DA Submission Factsheet to assist people making a submission.

 

DA2020/0005 - Public exhibition has now closed  

Intensive Livestock Agriculture (2,200 sow pig farm consisting of a breeder site with 5 sheds and a grower site with 16 sheds and associated ancillary infrastucture, farm building, office, tree removal and electricity generating works.


DA2020/0053 Public exhibition has now closed 

Harden - Demolition of squash courts and clubhouse and erection of new clubhouse and associated green area, access and parking areas.

DA2020/0250 - Construction and operation of proposed quarry - Rye Park

The application will be considered under Part 4 of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act, 1979. The application is Integrated Development under the Act and requires the approval of NSW Environmental Protection Authority under the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997. Hilltops Council is the consent authority for this application.
 
The application and accompanying documents may be inspected at Hilltops Council Administration Offices (Boorowa, Harden and Young), Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm.

DA2021/0133 -  Extractive Industry  - Bald Hill Quarry Pty Ltd

The abovementioned Development Application has been lodged with Hilltops Council. The proposal is Designated Development under Section 4.10 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, 1979.

Submissions regarding a proposed development must reach Council by the advertised date of expiry. A submission on a Development Application on exhibition must relate directly to the work proposed, and its possible impact on surrounding property or the locality.

Any person making a submission in relation to a development application must also make a declaration, if they have made a reportable political donation (exceeding $1000) to a Hilltops Councillor or made a gift to a Hilltops Councillor or employee, within the preceding 2 year period. A Disclosure Statement Form must be submitted with the submission.
 

Please note that information collected by Council in relation to Development Applications including public submissions on Development Applications, is open access information that can be obtained by members of the public under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009. Most of the information collected by Council can be accessed via this Act and in accordance with Council's Privacy Management Plan.
