Hilltops Council advises residents that Council offices and libraries will be closed over the ANZAC Day period, from 5.00pm Friday 24 April and will reopen at 8:30am on Tuesday 28 April 2026.
Changes to waste services will also be in place across the ANZAC Day weekend and the observed public holiday on Monday 27 April 2026.
Saturday 25 April 2026 – ANZAC Day
Victoria Street Waste Management Facility will be open from 1.00pm to 3.00pm.
The following facilities will be closed:
· Boorowa Waste Transfer Station
· Galong Waste Transfer Station
· Jugiong Waste Transfer Station
· Koorawatha Waste Transfer Station
· Murrumburrah Waste Transfer Station
· Redhill Road Landfill
· Reids Flat Waste Transfer Station

Monday 27 April 2026 (ANZAC Day Public Holiday – observed)
Kerbside collections in Young, Harden/Murrumburrah, Galong will occur as usual.
