Survey – Have Your Say
Hilltops Council is seeking community feedback on the Bango Wind Farm (Squadron Energy) and Rye Park Wind Farm (Tilt Renewables) Community Enhancement Funds through a survey designed to review the current application guidelines, processes and
funding outcomes.
The survey aims to gather insights from residents, community groups, organisations and previous applicants to help inform future improvements to the application process and ensure the funds continue to support projects that deliver meaningful benefits across the region.
Council is particularly keen to hear directly from previous applicants about their experiences
with the funds and how the process could be improved.
The Bango Wind Farm and Rye Park Wind Farm Community Enhancement Funds play an important role in supporting local projects and initiatives across the region. Council wants to understand what is working well, what could be improved, and how the process can remain transparent, accessible and beneficial to the broader community.
Feedback collected through the survey will help guide future discussions about the administration and operation of the Community Enhancement Funds. Any changes considered would not affect the existing Voluntary Planning Agreements (VPAs).
