Celebrating small business in October

Sep 24, 2020

October is NSW Small Business Month and Hilltops Council, the NSW Government and Southern Region Business Enterprise Centre have combined forces to ensure Hilltops businesses can share in the celebrations. A series of online workshops designed to support individuals and reboot business will be presented during October.
In July Councils across the state were invited to apply to the State Government for $2,000 in funding to deliver activities in October that align with one or more of the Government’s six themes for the month.
Hilltops Council was successful in its application and with its collaboration partner, the Southern Region Business Enterprise Centre (SRBEC), has come up with a carefully crafted workshop program aimed at delivering great value to the local business community. The Hilltops program will focus on four of the Government’s six themes giving the broadest possible support to business from the investment by State Government, Council and SRBEC.The Hilltops workshops will concentrate on the following themes:

  • Research, Plan, Do
  • Futureproof Your Business
  • Building Your Brand on Social
  • Working with Digi-tech

The workshops are all free and have been scheduled at various dates and times across the month for the convenience of our hard working business community.
