Hilltops Mayor, Brian Ingram, said the initiative was all about encouraging more business spending to stay local.
“Our region is full of amazing businesses, both large and small, but often people don’t know what’s out there. Through Localised, the business community has a new way of coming together to promote themselves, share business tips and advice, find goods and services, connect to business events and discover upcoming local opportunities. We want to help break down barriers by providing a platform that connects businesses and helps to grow the local economy,” said Mr. Ingram.
Harden Regional Development Corporation (HRDC) was the first to come on board with Localised.
“Harden Regional Development Corporation was delighted to host the launch of Localised to forty local businesses, giving us the opportunity to highlight the benefits of this B2B platform,” shared HRDC Chief Operating Officer Tony Holland.
Council encourage all Hilltops organisations, for profit and not for profit alike, to register their business, upload events and start to network across the region and build on the strengths we have with the huge array of services our local communities can provide around the Hilltops region.
