Summer Reading at Hilltops Library

Hilltops Council Library is pleased to present Summer Reading at Hilltops, activities and events to support your summertime leisure. Explore what your library has to offer to inspire your summer adventures. The Hilltops Library and community partners are running a series of events and activities throughout the summer to promote reading for pleasure with the support of National Back Yard Cricket and the LBW Trust,  the Learning for a Better World Trust, which seeks to support education in communities and level the playing field.

Eligible Primary School children are able to participate in the Hilltops Summer Reading Club by reading or listening to books. By doing so they will be included in the prize draw for some fantastic prizes.

Hilltops residents over 13 years of age can join in our Hilltops.Read.Share. social media campaign, by sharing a photo or post of what they are reading in a creative image, or a brief Book Review about the book/s they are reading. If your photo or post appears on the Hilltops Council Library Facebook page, you’ll be in the running for a drink voucher at selected Hilltops Cafes.

Visit your local Hilltops Council Library branch in Boorowa, Harden or Young for the Drop-In Summer Sessions, and/or look out for our friendly library staff out and about at special pop-up Library events throughout the summer.

Don’t miss out, join in the summer fun and take advantage of the benefits of Library membership. Library members have access to our collection both in physical formats and online through our e-collection and resources.

Find out more by checking out our Facebook page Hilltops Council Library for more information and schedule of events.
