Motorists are advised of a temporary speed reduction on Milvale Road at Stony Creek, near the Burrangong Racecourse, to allow for essential culvert repair works.
From Friday, 30 January 2026, the speed limit on Milvale Road at Stony Creek will be reduced to 40 km/h in the work zone. The reduced speed limit will remain in place for approximately four weeks, weather permitting.
During this time, road users may experience traffic delays. Traffic control measures and signage will be in place to ensure the safety of motorists and workers. The speed reduction is necessary to provide a safe environment for road users and construction crews while repairs are carried out on the culvert infrastructure.
Council appreciates the community’s patience and understanding as these necessary upgrades are carried out.
