Hilltops Council advises residents of Young that resealing works will take place between Monday 2 February to Saturday 7 February 2026, on the following streets:
Monday 2 February:
• Crowther Street – Monteagle Street to Taylors Road
• Fontenoy Street – Jasprizza Avenue to Henry Lawson Way
• Glenrowan Road – Full length
• Krebs Road – Wickham Lane to Old Temora Road
• Monteagle Street – Bendick Street to Orchard Street
Tuesday 3 February:
• Edwards Street – Main Street to Zouch Street
• Prospect Street – Elizabeth Street to Taylor Road
• Stoneridge Street – Nasmyth Street to William Street
• Tate Street – Full length
Wednesday 4 February:
• Moppity Road – 80km sign to 2LF Tower
Friday 6 February:
• Berthong Street – Wombat Street to Willawong Street
Saturday 7 February:
• Brock Street – Elizabeth Street to Taylor Road
• Ripon Street – Campbell Street to Caple Street
Works on Ripon Street and Brock Street are scheduled for Saturday 7 February 2026 and have been programmed on this day to minimise impacts to local schools.
Works will take place between 7am and 5pm, with completion of each section expected to occur on the same day, subject to weather.
Residents are advised to keep windows and doors closed to ensure that their homes are not impacted by odour from the road resealing works; park cars in driveways and not on the roads where resealing will occur and if possible, avoid driving through these areas while work is occurring.
Planned works are subject to change due to Council resources, staffing availability, shifting priorities and weather conditions.
Speed restrictions will be in place and minor delays may be experienced. Speed should be reduced, and caution exercised when travelling through roadwork sites.
